Project Introduction
“Project Art Container” transforms shipping containers into canvases that connect creativity, the city and maritime networks. It invites the public to rediscover Hong Kong’s role as an international port city and a global maritime hub through a new perspective.
Through an open call for submissions and cross-sector collaboration, creative artworks are transformed into real art containers, carrying Hong Kong’s stories to different cities through international maritime routes. With the integration of voyage tracking, thematic exhibitions, and interactive experiences, it showcases Hong Kong’s unique position within the global supply chain, while highlighting the maritime industry’s vital role in supporting the city’s development and international connectivity.
